Jade is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer with over 10 years' experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. Her diverse animal training background includes dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and other pets, and her experience spans behaviour assessments, behaviour modification programs, one-on-one coaching, and group classes. Jade is a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA). This means she has met the requirements put forth by an international governing body and that her training methods are grounded in behaviour science and humane training practices.
In additional to Jade's professional animal experience she shares her home with four dogs: an Irish Terrier "Russ", Miniature Schnauzer "Heidi" and two Australian Shepherds "Tank" and "Marco". Her own dogs compete in agility, rally-o and conformation.
Jade is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT) and a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She also holds memberships in the Canadian Kennel Club, the North American Dog Agility Council, the Agility Association of Canada, the Canadian National Australian Shepherd Association, and the Australian Shepherd Club of America.
