Flyball Level 1
Begins: Monday, September 13 at 8:30pm (Full!)
Monday, November 1 at 8:30pm
Ready for some fast paced action?! The sport of Flyball involves 4 dogs on a team running as fast as they can up a line of 4 jumps to a box with a ball in it. The dog triggers the box, grabs their ball and races as fast as possible back down the line of 4 jumps. Once across the start line the next dog on the team runs, until all 4 dogs have had their turn. There are two lanes of racing at once and the fastes team wins that heat!
This class will begin teaching each piece of the flyball game. Dogs will learn the four jump sequence, recalls for speed, triggering the box, proper turns on the box and passing will be started.
Flyball Level 2
Begins:
This course will continue working on all the skills taught in Level 1 and begin proofing the dogs for competition. Passing will practiced and plenty of distractions added.
*Dogs with aggression or other behavior problems are not suitable for a group class. If you have concerns regarding your dogs behaviour please let us know before registering for a group class.
So what does all this fun cost?
Dogs are required to bring $165 + GST per 6 week course and we accept either cash or cheque as payment options (their owners can join them for free!) To register for a class please phone Kim at (403) 477-9118 or email her at kim_boyes@yahoo.ca
Need some one on one time? Private lessons are available by appointment at our facility. These lessons are tailored to what you want your dog to learn. Anything from basic obedience to dog sports to challenging hand signals to barking and behavioural issues.
Fees for private lessons taken at our facility are $70/hour.
