The agility skills class will focus on improving the canine half of your agility team.  We will work on building obstacle commitment, distance work, performing 180 and 270 degree turns, wraps, serpentines and other technical skills required for competition.  To attend this class, dogs must already be performing obstacles with confidence and have some knowledge of sequencing.

The Handling Skills class will focus on improving the human half of your agility team.  We will teach you how, where and why to perform your crosses, how to use acceleration and deceleration cues, how to use lead out pivots and many other skills necessary to compete successfuly in agility trials at all levels.  Dogs must be comfortable performing all pieces of equipment and sequencing several obstacles at a time.  Every six week set of our Agility Handling course has different courses and different challenges offered each week.  Once at this level you can remain in this class and continue to be challenged month after month!

Did You Know...
Agility was first introduced in 1979 at the Crufts Dog Show in England
When practicing with your dog, aim for several shorter sessions instead of one long session once a day.  Less is more!
